DC has long been the home of the Justice League, the congregation of the publisher’s finest, most iconic superheroes. Thus, in addition to their popularity, there are several fan debates as to which one of them can absolutely decimate their opponents.
Thus, to put things into perspective, we have listed the most deadly and devastating attacks from each superhero’s arsenal. From Batman’s hand-to-hand combat to Superman’s godly power, here’s what they can do when they have only one shot to win.
8. Batman: Vibrating Palm Strike

The Move Name: Vibrating Palm Strike
Comic Source: Batman #431
Why It’s Deadly: Similar to the ‘Death Touch’ from actual martial arts, it’s precise and deadly, the effects of which manifest later.
The Vibrating Palm Strike is a pressure-point technique Batman learned from a North Korean martial arts master named Kirigi during his global martial arts training. It is related to the striking of specific nerves to immobilise or execute an opponent with just bare hands.
But more commonly, Batman uses it not to kill, but to disable enemies instantly by cutting off motor functions, numbing limbs, or triggering unconsciousness. Although some mentions also claim that they can stop someone’s heart or cause delayed internal trauma, which can prove to be deadly, and thus, are rarely used by the Caped Crusader in this manner.
7. Aquaman: Wall of Sharks

The Move Name: Wall of Sharks
Comic Source: Justice League #4 (New 52)
Why It’s Deadly: Summoning a massive school of sharks to devour his opponents whole in extreme graphic brutality.
The Wall of Sharks is a technique Aquaman uses in the comics where he summons a massive swarm of sharks and other sea predators, commanding them to act as a living shield or barrier.
The wall can be used as a defensive barrier, where these Sharks form an impenetrable living wall to block enemy attacks while being under the mystical blessing of the King of Atlantis, causing them no harm. It can also be an offensive maneuver, where they’re unleashed against foes, functioning as a devastating tidal wave of sharp teeth on grinding jaws.
6. Wonder Woman: Lasso of Truth

The Move Name: Lasso of Truth
Comic Source: Sensation Comics #6
Why It’s Deadly:
Just like her philosophy, the Lasso of Truth symbolises Wonder Woman’s use of truth and compassion as her weapon.
The Lasso is often described as indestructible, forged from the Golden Girdle of Gaea or blessed by the gods, and is used by the superhero to either defend herself and others from harm or as an offensive tool. She is seen to hold back Superman at his full potential with the Lasso’s properties, while also flinging entire buildings with it in the comics.
5. Cyborg: Technomorphing

The Move Name: Technomorphing
Comic Source: Justice League: Origin series
Why It’s Deadly: Becomes one with the technology around him, giving him control of the entire global digital network and more.
Technomorphing is one of Cyborg’s defining post-Flashpoint (New 52 onwards) abilities, granted by the integration of his body with Mother Box.
Along with jacking into the digital world and commanding it like a king, he also has the power to generate any weapon he can conjure in his mind through the control of gadgets and other equipment. He can also go completely digital and teleport wherever he wants to.
4. Green Lantern: Ring Duplication & Time Travel

The Move Name: Ring Duplication & Time Travel
Comic Source: JLA #8 and Green Lantern #9
Why It’s Deadly: Another one of the most versatile tools in DC Comics, along with the added powers of time travel.
While most of us know just how amazing the Green Lantern ring is, with its ability to create anything with just the wearer’s willpower, it’s also capable of creating a path for the Lanterns to travel in time.
Along with that, there are mentions of how the rings can be duplicated and stored by the wearer if he so chooses, although only the Guardians can do so. We hope that these feats of power and abilities find their way to James Gunn’s upcoming Lanterns TV series.
3. Martian Manhunter: Mayavanna

The Move Name: Mayavanna
Comic Source: Martian Manhunter Vol. 2 #6
Why It’s Deadly: If used properly, it can give them an entirely new reality where they can do whatever they want in perfect harmony.
The Mayavanna Illusion is a Martian psychic ability that allows a Green Martian to create a perfect dreamscape, which is a fully immersive illusion that grants someone their deepest, most heartfelt desire.
It is also one of the most powerful abilities, although not in a traditional offensive or defensive sense. Through telepathy and psychic projection, the Manhunter links directly into a person’s subconscious desires. He then creates a psychic environment where those wishes feel absolutely real.
2. Superman: Dimension-Shattering Punch

The Move Name: Dimension-Shattering Punch
Comic Source: Infinite Crisis: Secret Files
Why It’s Deadly: Can shatter and reset an entire reality by just punching a hole through it.
Despite looking and acting like a normal, relatable guy, Clark Kent’s powers in his Superman costume rival only the gods themselves. Even one of his punches can shatter planets if he puts his back into it.
One of these feats was on display by Superboy, who, to solve the problems in the Infinite Crisis arc, shattered the fabric of reality itself. In other instances, like in Justice League #25, this superhero managed to shatter an entire universe with one punch during his battle with a cosmic being known as The World Forger.
1. The Flash: Infinite Mass Punch

The Move Name: Infinite Mass Punch
Comic Source: JLA #3
Why It’s Deadly: Uses the power of the Speed Force to amass light energy and punch with infinite mass accumulated on his fists.
The Infinite Mass Punch is one of the most devastating attacks used by Wallace West in the comics when he taps into the Speed Force and accelerates close to the speed of light.
Described as hitting with the power of a white dwarf star, the contact with it is enough to vaporise entire solar systems in a moment, while countering it is just as impossible as wrapping your head around it. And with Wallace being the main protagonist of Absolute Flash, we can expect this moment to be added to the list of the best moments from the comics.
