Beyond the memorable characters and unpredictable storytelling approach, Jujutsu Kaisen is also famous for being the spiritual successor of Bleach. With characters like Gojo, Sukuna, and Mahoraga, Jujutsu Kaisen’s power scale is explosive. Yet, their astronomical abilities and attacks might pale in comparison to the powerhouses of Bleach.

10. Gremmy
Gremmy’s personal inhibitions prevented him from becoming the strongest character in Bleach. He nearly overpowered Zaraki during their battle in the Thousand-Year Blood War, but his imagination fell short. From defending and healing himself to turning his target into marshmallow, Gremmy is capable of everything he can envision.
Attention plays a huge role in the effectiveness of his attacks, so if multiple characters attack him at once, he might lose. However, if he fully focuses on the battle at hand, he’s too overpowered.
9. Mayuri Kurotsuchi

For instance, if the fight isn’t going in his favor, he can simply use Nikushibuki to escape. That way, he can return to the fight when he’s fully prepared. The preparation time is the only thing that holds him back, otherwise he has no dearth of attacks or nightmares.
8. Shūkurō Tsukishima
Gojo, Fushiguro, Yuji, and many other characters have faced emotional difficulties in Jujutsu Kaisen. This gives Tsukishima a great advantage over most of the JJK cast. His ability ‘Book of the End’ allows him to insert himself into the past of others and manipulate their memories.
With their tragic past and traumatic experiences, JJK characters would be the easiest to manipulate for Tsukishima. He doesn’t even need to fight them, but simply become their best friend.
7. Hirako Shinji
Shinji is a beloved Bleach character and understandably so. He’s powerful, interesting, and a sheer joy to watch. His Shikai, Sakasema no Sekai, allows him to reverse the sense of direction of his opponents. This is a great ability for characters like Yuji and Todo, who mostly indulge in hand-to-hand combat. However, for stronger characters, Shinji needs something more powerful. And his Bankai is exactly that.

His Bankai, Sakashima Yokoshima Happofusagari, meddles with the brain chemistry of his opponents, altering their sense of self and the world. While his Shikai dismantles their actions, his Bankai leaves them confused. It’s a perfect combination that can bring down the strongest characters.
6. Ichibei Hyōsube
Ichibei is a master manipulator, and his abilities allow him to manipulate his opponents’ existence. With his Shikai, he can erase things, and his Bankai changes the name and property of its target. So, he can weaken anyone and use his Heavenly Passing Palm of the Thousand Ri to physically attack them as well.
His battle intellect further helps him decide the optimum course of action to make the best of his abilities. So, he can not only strip Jujutsu Kaisen characters of their powers, but also crush them with his offensive abilities.
5. Kenpachi Zaraki
Zaraki’s close-ranged battle style is his biggest enemy against Gojo’s Infinity, whereas Sukuna’s Dismantle would challenge the swordsman in him. Zaraki grows stronger the more he is challenged, and he’s capable of cutting down asteroids.
Therefore, he should be able to tackle the astronomical attacks of characters like Sukuna and Gojo. His most interesting match-up will be with Todo and Yuji, since they also function on brute strength like him.
4. Kurosaki Ichigo
The only character with plot armor in Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen is the King of Curses – Sukuna. Everyone else, including Yuji and Gojo, is susceptible to losing and even dying. On the contrary, Ichigo has the advantage of generous plot armor. Even in a near-death situation, he attains a new power-up that taps into one of his four lineages.
As a result, Ichigo has many power-ups that prove to be lethal for his opponents. This includes his Bankai, his hollow form, and Blut Vene. He has the perfect offensive and defensive abilities to take on most characters from Jujutsu Kaisen. Gojo’s Infinity might be a challenge for Ichigo, but his reiatsu is strong enough to negate its effects.
3. Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto
Whether it’s one opponent or multiple of them, Genryusai Yamamoto can take them on with his fire-based arsenal. His strength lies in the sheer impact of his attacks, which were put on a grand display during the Thousand-Year Blood War. His abilities have a huge radius, and even the Soul Reapers, with their diverse abilities, were vulnerable against his flames.

2. Sosuke Aizen
The trickiest part of a battle against Aizen is that you never know when it began. As soon as a character comes in contact with him, they have practically lost against him. His Zanpakuto, Kyoka Suigetsu, manipulates all five senses of its targets, leaving them at the mercy of its wielder.
Aizen doesn’t have to physically exert himself, as he can simply manipulate his target to kill himself. He’s a terrifying opponent, and most Jujutsu Kaisen characters would fail to defend against his illusory prowess.
