Fans Attack Diddy’s Court Conviction With Harsher Punishment
With the video being resurfaced on the internet, fans had quite strong opinions about the conviction that Diddy got. The rap mogul was convicted of two counts of federal pr*stitution and found guilty. Judge Subramanian ordered Diddy to serve 50 months in prison, a $500,000 fine, and five years of supervision following his prison release.
People took to X to discuss the punishment that P Diddy was given. According to fans, Diddy should have gotten 4 years of prison time based on his violence with Cassie Ventura alone. Check out some of the tweets below:
Insane 🤦♂️ that alone is worth more than 4 years…. All the other stuff sprinkled into it makes this unfathomable pic.twitter.com/9R1Syuxyy4
50 months for years of brutal abuse and trafficking? Diddy's "justice" is just another rich man's slap on the wrist while survivors bleed.
He really deserves to be in jail for life

For additional context, we would like to clarify that Diddy was not put on trial for domestic violence or assault and battery. Hence, he cannot be charged with something that he wasn’t put on trial for.
Despite facing 50 months in prison and a $500,000 fine, it seems that Diddy’s legal team will likely go for an appeal in court for a retrial.
Will Diddy Appeal for a Re-Trial?
One day before his conviction, Diddy issued an apology letter. However, things took a wild turn when Diddy’s attorney stated that they would be making an appeal for a retrial!
According to a report by News Nation Now, Diddy’s lawyer was heard outside the court saying that the trial was unfair and that Judge Subramanian acted as an allegedly unofficial “13th juror”. They do have the legal right to appeal for a retrial within 14 days of the conviction.
However, with Diddy’s apology letter and his talks about reform during prison seem to hint at a calmer side of him that was previously not seen. It depends on Diddy whether to go make an appeal or accept his sentence.
