After weeks of deception, charm, and high-stakes revenge, Confidence Queen is finally approaching its grand finale with Episode 12. The series features three master con artists, Yoon Yi-rang, Myung Gu-ho, and James, who carry out elaborate schemes.
In episodes 9 and 10, we finally met the man who had kidnapped Yi-rang and Gu-ho. In the next episode preview, too, we noticed that Yi-rang will go head-to-head against him, carrying out another brilliant con to finally get her revenge.
Episode 12 will air on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 10:30 PM KST on TV Chosun, with immediate streaming availability on Coupang Play (in Korea) and Amazon Prime Video internationally. The finale promises a tense showdown between Yi-rang, James, and Gu-ho, as they tackle Kang Yo-seop.
Confidence Queen Episode 12: Possible Spoilers
We know that Yi-rang has finally caught up with her kidnapper, the world-famous architect Kang Yo-seop. As we know already, everything she has ever done was to catch him, and now that she finally knows him, the trio will plan another con to take him down.
In the next episode preview we saw at the end of the tenth episode, Yi-rang seems to have taken a job at Yo-seop’s firm, trying to get close to him. However, there is a possibility that Yo-seop already knows her true identity and has caught up with it, playing a game of his own.
Moreover, at the end of the tenth episode, Gu-ho discovered Yi-rang’s lair and her elaborate plan to catch their kidnapper. By the eleventh episode, we expect him to find the truth. Knowing him and from what we see in the next episode preview, he seems to have left the trio and is having a hard time facing the truth.
Confidence Queen Episode 12: Potential Plot Twists
If Confidence Queen has taught fans anything, it’s to expect the unexpected. Episode 12 could deliver several surprising turns, especially as the series has consistently blurred the line between truth and illusion.
A potential plot twist might be that Kang So-yeop already knows Yi-rang’s identity. He might even be ahead of her, trying to play another one of his twisted games.
Moreover, now that James and Yi-rang are left alone to carry out their master con, things will surely be more difficult, and we can expect bigger roadblocks and problems.
While we saw Gu-ho has left the trio, we can expect him to come back at the last moment in episode 12, and save the day. Driven by revenge, we expect both Yi-rang and Gu-ho to get their closure.
But knowing Yo-seop, he is not an easy adversary to face. He will surely have more than a few tricks up his sleeve and give them a hard time.
