What Is the Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode in Borderlands 4
The Ultimate Vault Hunter mode is where your skills are put to the test in Borderlands 4. In this mode, you will be completing quests and fighting enemies that become stronger as your level increases. Their health pool and damage output will increase significantly, making it relatively tougher for you to survive. But in exchange, you will receive more rewards than you usually did during the campaign.
To unlock this mode, you will have to beat the main storyline with your first character. Once you have done that, you will unlock a new ‘Ultimate Vault Hunter’ task in the Challenges menu. You will find all your tasks related to this endgame content in this section.
To unlock rank 1 and start your journey in the Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, you have to do quests like Zane’s Firmware, Maurice’s Bounty, and Big Encore. After doing so, you will unlock a Wildcard mission that, once completed, will promote you to the next rank. You will receive the Wildcard mission from Lilith.
On rank 1 of the Ultimate Vault Hunter mode in Borderlands 4, you will observe the following changes in the gameplay.
