Long story short, with growing fan interest and an increasingly ambitious development strategy, 2026 is shaping up to be the biggest year in this studio’s history.
Bloober Team’s Roadmap for 2026 Looks Stacked
According to the circulating information, the following games from Bloober Team are set to release this year and in 2026:
The studio is already known for its psychological horror series, Layers of Fear. In late 2025, probably in December, the Layers of Fear: The Final Masterpiece Edition will receive a port for Nintendo Switch 2. Apart from this, a mysterious title codenamed Project M will also arrive for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, but in 2026.
A general thing to remember is that Project M is being crafted by Broken Mirror Games, a second-party studio under Bloober Team. The said studio is reportedly also working on another title called Project F, which is slated for release in 2026. What follows is an isometric survival horror game called I Hate This Place that was originally supposed to be released in November 2025. However, due to technical reasons, this Broken Mirror title will now be released on January 29, 2026.
Why 2026 Could Be a Game-Changer for Bloober Team’s Legacy
The scale of the rumored projects suggests that Bloober Team might be transitioning from a niche horror developer into a more versatile and influential studio. After years of recreating games and serving them with nostalgia, Bloober Team now has the resources, momentum, and global recognition to take bold risks.
The rumored 2026 slate for the developers suggests a mix of original IP, high-profile collaborations, and perhaps, a genre expansion, too. This might be the signal that they are now ready for the large stage.
That being said, 2026 can be a transformative year for Bloober Team if they manage to execute their developmental strategy successfully.
