We finally have an understanding of why the Fire Na’vi are angry in James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash. With the release of the trailer, several details were revealed regarding the plot and storyline of the upcoming movie.
When it was announced that the villains would be the Fire Na’vi tribe, there was no reason given for why they were vengeful. Well, in a small moment in the trailer, Oona Chaplin’s Varang gives the sense that when the fire emerged from the volcano, nobody came to save their tribe.
Stating that Ewya didn’t save their tribe, Varang reveals that they started worshipping the most destructive force on Pandora, fire. That is why the Na’vi people started worshipping Fire and had vengeance on their minds. James Cameron masterfully brings in the war of the nations in the trailer, and of course, it is a beautiful thing to witness.
