Vehicular action is back in Battlefield 6, and it’s better than ever, from tanks with heavy artillery to fighter jets engaging in dynamic dogfights. While infantry-focused combat still gets the spotlight, vehicles steal the show in intense situations. There are 8 vehicle classes available at launch in Battlefield 6, and here’s all of them, along with how you can use them.
1. MBT (Main Battle Tank)
From the name itself, you can deduce that the Main Battle Tank (MBT) is your traditional tank in Battlefield 6 — a 2-seater monster of a vehicle that demolishes enemy forces with its heavy artillery while providing a moving cover to friendlies.
It doesn’t matter if you encounter enemy infantry or ground vehicles; the MBT will be your go-to vehicle during intense gunfights. Deploy it using the tank icon in Conquest or Escalation mode, and it will automatically spawn on the map.
2. IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle)
Next up is the Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) in Battlefield 6, which is a 6-seater and more versatile version of the MBT. These vehicles work better as backup rather than breaking through enemy frontlines due to their inefficiency aga inst heavy enemy armor.
However, the IFV is faster than the MBT, and since it’s armed with heavy artillery, including explosive options, it can quickly eliminate infantry within seconds. Additionally, they can carry troops too, so it’s a justified tradeoff.
3. Light Ground Transport
The Light Ground Transport in Battlefield 6 is the perfect vehicle for flanking enemy forces and quickly traversing the map. It’s armed with immense firepower, so hostile engagement is also possible with the Light Ground Transport.
However, it’s best used for moving across the map as it’s incredibly mobile, carrying squads to their desired destination. Deploy it on the map using the Light Transport icon in Conquest or Escalation.
4. Mobile Anti-Air
The Mobile Anti-Air in Battlefield 6 is the tanky answer to the question: how can players deal with enemy aircraft from the ground? Equipped with dual autocannons and homing missiles, this vehicle can rain fire from below to free the skies of frustrating enemy units.
It features a single seat, meaning only one player can take control. But there’s nothing to worry about if you know where to look. Players can deploy it on the map in Conquest or Escalation using the Anti-Air icon.
5. Attack Helicopter
Coming to airborne vehicles, the Attack Helicopter in Battlefield 6 is a mobile beast, armed with immense weaponry. A 2-seater flying wonder, the Attack Helicopter can easily hold objectives or thwart enemy infantry on the ground, whichever is your go-to choice of action.
It’s highly effective against ground infantry, so you should always deploy the Attack Helicopter in Conquest or Escalation, using the Attack Helicopter icon whenever things get messy or enemy infantry circle your squad’s position on the ground.
6. Transport Helicopter
The Transport Helicopter in Battlefield 6 is the airborne manifestation of self-defense, offering support to squads in multiple helpful ways. Not only can it carry 5 people, but it can also move around the map fairly quickly, taking troops beyond the enemy frontlines for an effective flank.
It also features two side-mounted miniguns for additional offensive support, combining transportation and firepower effortlessly. Spawn it in Conquest or Escalation by deploying it using the Transport Helicopter icon.
7. Attack Jet
The Attack Jet in Battlefield 6 seamlessly performs attack runs, destroying every enemy infantry and vehicles in its path. Ground targets become the prey for the Attack Jet, and thanks to their immense firepower, you can take down threats with precision while maintaining manoeuvrability.
It won’t spawn on the map, so you need to wait until the “Aircraft Available for Deployment” prompt shows up and then hit Deploy in both Conquest and Escalation. Additionally, only one squad member can use the attack jet at any given time, so use it wisely.
8. Fighter Jet
The Figher Jet in Battlefield 6 is a 1-seater force of nature that controls the skies by locking onto enemy aircraft with heavy weaponry. While it may not be as proficient when dealing with grounded enemy forces, the Fighter Jet is still incredibly formidable, stealthily taking out all aircraft in its airborne vicinity.
Do not hesitate to hit Deploy whenever it’s available for deployment in Conquest and Escalation, as it can truly come in handy when your squad needs it the most. Piloting can be tricky, but if you’re confident in your skills, call it in as soon as possible and take down airborne enemy forces with ease.
