All 6 Elixir Cards In Clash Royale, Ranked

6 Elixir Cards in Clash Royale are some of the most powerful options you can use. Currently, there are 13 in the game to use with picks such as Royal Giant, Boss Bandit, Giant Skeleton, X-Bow, and many more. Most of these cards are so powerful that they require entire decks to be built around them, and a few even have Evolutions for that extra juice. Wondering which 6 Elixir cards in Clash Royale are worth using? Well, let’s rank them all.

13. Barbarian Hut

Right at the bottom of this list is the Barbarian Hut. Even after its Elixir cost was dropped from 7 to 6 alongside a few buffs, the card is still horrendous. The spawned Barbarians are just too weak and slow, which doesn’t let them add any value on either offense or defense. Unless this thing receives a Card Evolution in Clash Royale, it’s going to remain right at the bottom of card usage rates.

12. Goblin Giant

Next up is the Goblin Giant. While his Evolution form is a threat in the top ladder, the base card doesn’t have the same success. There’s no reason to use him over the Giant, as he doesn’t have much value in most decks. The only niche he has is in Sparky decks, where his synergy allows him to show his magic.

11. Royal Giant

Royal Giant isn’t a bad 6 Elixir card in Clash Royale. In fact, he’s a balanced option and a mid-ladder menace when overleveled. The only reason he isn’t at the top of the rankings here is because of his Evolution form, which outshines the base version by a long mile.

10. Giant Skeleton

The Giant Skeleton’s design and the cheesy strategies you can pull off with it are just pure fun. However, in the last couple of metas at the top levels, he’s been in a clunky place as he’s too slow to serve as a win condition, and expensive to act as a reliable tank. Still, though, it’s an enjoyable card to experiment with.

9. X-bow

X-Bow is both one of the most frustrating cards to go against and one of the most skillful to master. In the right hands, it can still be a serious threat, but with the current meta filled with Vines, getting a lock is borderline impossible. More often than not, you’ll find yourself stuck spell-cycling and defending throughout the matches.

8. Sparky

Sparky’s damage is enough to wipe almost any card off the map in Clash Royale, but the problem is getting it to actually connect. Your opponent will use a Zap to reset it or swarm it when it crosses the bridge. To get any use out of this thing, you’ll need the right deck centered around with a solid tank to shield it. Still, it’s incredibly risky to use.

7. Elite Barbarians

Elite Barbarians are the prime example of a mid-ladder card in Clash Royale. On paper, they’re easy to counter and weak, but in a match, they can be frustrating to go against. They punish mistakes and swarm players who don’t have a shred of an idea of how to stop them. Giving them buffs wouldn’t be a great idea, as they’re just too controversial.

6. Rocket

If your deck is struggling to break through to the towers, Rocket can be a spicy pick as it’s one of the few spells in the game that’s also a win condition on its own. When you combine it with Tornado, it can completely obliterate most of the massive pushes from your opponent. Heck, Rocket can even help you to snipe cards like the Witch, Wizard, and many other things alongside free tower damage.

5. Elixir Collector

The Elixir Collector might not be the strongest 6 Elixir card in Clash Royale like it was back in the golden days of the game, but it’s still a good choice for heavy decks that use Golem or Three Musketeers. If your opponent doesn’t deal with your pumps, they’ll get overwhelmed once you pick up momentum.

4. Boss Bandit

The Boss Bandit is leagues above other Champions in Clash Royale, and for a 6 Elixir card, her usage rates are quite high. She fits into a variety of decks, with the Ram Rider decks standing out. Her ability offers a lot of value, so don’t be surprised to see her getting nerfed in the next patch.

3. Royale Giant Evolution

The Royal Giant Evolution, with its knockback and damage, is a solid pick on the ladder. However, it’s not strong in the current meta due to the Giant Goblin and Evo Wall Breakers spam, which are hard for Royal Giant decks to deal with. If your opponent has a building ready, even the Evolution gets no value.

2. Lightning

Lightning is one of the best 6 Elixir cards in Clash Royale, especially for beatdown decks. The fact that it can one-shot things like Wizard, Electro Dragon, Musketeer, and even the Archer Queen makes it a solid option. If that’s not enough, it can also reset units like Sparky and Inferno Tower while headlining heavy damage, which makes it great for spell cycling as well.

1. Goblin Giant Evolution

It’s kind of funny how the base Goblin Giant is absolutely horrendous, but its Evolution is the pick when we talk about 6 Elixir cards in Clash Royale. When paired with the Royal Chef tower, it becomes highly effective, and the fact that it can swarm with goblins once it hits 50% health makes it a nightmare for your opponent to defend. It’s the top Evolution pick in most of the competitive tournaments, and that’s for a reason.
