Alec Baldwin and his brother Stephen Baldwin were recently involved in a brutal car crash, but both have confirmed that they came out of the accident unscathed. In a video shared to his Instagram handle, Alec shared what exactly happened, saying,
This morning, I was in a car accident. I’m fine… A guy cut me off with a truck. A big garbage truck, the size of a whale. Never seen a garbage truck [that big], it must have been something commercial… To avoid hitting him, I hit a big fat tree and crushed my wife’s car.
Continuing, he confirmed that he and his youngest brother, Stephen, 59, who was visiting him at the time, both got out of the accident safely. Alec said in the self-recorded clip,
I crushed my wife’s car—I feel bad about that. That’s all fine, and I’m fine, and my brother’s fine. My wife’s care is pretty smashed up. Big tree, big fat tree.
In the pictures and footage obtained by TMZ of the incident, Alec and Stephen were spotted standing in the rain as they spoke with the police who responded to the scene. The car, meanwhile, was pretty badly damaged, with its front end damaged in the crash.
