Remember MrBeast’s Squid Game $456,000 challenge back in 2021? Numerous players participated in that game, though the story of player number 67’s rags-to-riches story is truly worth acknowledging. For one, the star, whose real name is Camilla Araujo, recently bought a stunning $5 million mansion from her own hard-earned money!
After gaining mainstream fame as contestant number 67 of that game, which amassed hundreds of millions of views, the Brazilian-born content creator transitioned her online popularity into a career on OnlyFans. From thereon, Araujo didn’t take too long to earn big bucks as she was making about $2.1 million monthly from the platform without posting explicit content, as she claimed to Bonnie Blue.
Plus, during her recent appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, she revealed how her “new home cost me $5 million,” and the money she used to buy it reportedly only included her earnings from her OnlyFans gig. Not to mention, the 22-year-old millionaire is also a dropout!
Camilla Araujo Shared Her Story of Being on MrBeastʼs Squid Game
During her appearance on the Impaulsive podcast, Camilla Araujo got candid about how she dropped out of college soon after her appearance on MrBeast’s Squid Game challenge.
As she shared, the first day of the game didn’t exactly go as planned, and ended up in a “complete malfunction
The first day they shot [MrBeast’s] Squid Game, there were 456 people. Complete malfunction, everything went wrong. So when we went the second day, they’re like, ‘Okay, let’s re-try it.’ And they tried to get the same people back. Half of the people showed up. So they’re frantically calling people to come and show up, and I just happened to be one of those people.
For her part, Araujo feels she got even more famous than the person who actually won the game, i.e., Kam, player number 79. In fact, that game was the very one that inspired her not to go back to college, and instead, become a dropout with an OnlyFans handle.
It changed the course of my life. Like, I was in college at ECU. […] I ended up getting more famous than the person who actually won. I was like, ‘I refuse to go back to school.’ I dropped out that winter break and never went back!
Well, guess that decision only worked out in her favor, considering how Araujo already appears to be earning millions from her gig as an OnlyFans creator despite being a college dropout!
Camilla Araujo Sees Her OnlyFans Job as a Business Strategy
Talking on the podcast, Camilla Araujo also mentioned how she looked at her OnlyFans job as not a fling, but rather a business strategy. While she vehemently denied that her content is “implied,” she also mentioned that paid subscribers handed over money for it, anyway.
In fact, Araujo even devised a successful formula for this business strategy of hers: Post regularly, use analytics-based thumbnail choice, and maintain consistency for successful formats. As she emphasized,
I’m a content creator. Long-term is the goal.
So it is. Plus, she has even ventured into real estate with Section 8 rentals, which is a short-term rental for Ford Lauderdale. Not to mention, her multimillion-dollar dream home that she recently purchased for a sweet $5 million from her own hard-earned money.
Besides this, Araujo also suggested that she will have a “big mic drop” exit from OnlyFans before making a total turn into fashion and even home flipping. Guess she has her entire life and career planned out right in front of her!
