It’s only been a week since Ghost of Yotei was released, and players have already curated some of the most overpowered builds that 1600s Japan has seen. However, when the majority are taking an all-out offensive approach, spice up your gameplay with a quieter one with this insane stealth build that puts Assassin’s Creed Shadows to shame in Ghost of Yotei.
1. The Perfect Armor for This Build
The first step to creating this overpowered stealth build in Ghost of Yotei is to equip the Crimson Kimono armor, which is unlocked after completing the Mythic Tale: The Crimson Kimono, located in Teshio Ridge. It’s one of the best armors in the game, not just for its sleek look, but also for the broken stealth perks that it offers when fully upgraded:
The Crimson Kimono armor focuses on stealth assassinations, with Chain Assassinations now taking out five enemies instead of three with the extra Kunai. The massive reduction in enemy detection enforces a stealth playstyle even more, giving you access to restricted areas more easily and taking out guards without making a sound.
Thirdly, the best perk this armor offers is allowing you to perform Kusarigama Assassinations from further away. This means you can hide in locations with tall grasses, pull the enemy by performing a Kusarigama Assassination, and hide their body simultaneously to avoid being detected. Once you unlock this armor, make sure to level it up fully to unlock all three perks.
2. Charms to Equip
To make this stealth build in Ghost of Yotei, you need to pair effective Charms with the badass Crimson Kimono armor. For this one, you need Charms that enhance Atsu’s stealthiness and survivability for a quieter approach. Here’s what you should be looking for to make this build:
Upgrade these Charms fully to amply their effects and increase their chances of triggering when you’re taking a quieter approach. With these Charms, you’ll be regaining Health more often, recovering ammo as well as Kunai, passing through areas and taking out enemies undetected, and Terrify nearby enemies to avoid further bloodshed in Ghost of Yotei.
3. Skill Trees to Focus On
For this stealth build, you need to focus on the Assassination Skill Tree in Ghost of Yotei, which makes your stealth capabilities quieter and more devastating. Max out the skills in this tree for quicker and easier stealth kills that target not just normal thugs, but also leaders and brutes.
Next, you also need to upgrade the Kusarigama’s Skill Tree since Kusarigama Assassinations are a major point of this stealth build. Maxing out these skill trees will make you impossible to detect, and always keep you in the shadows more, lurking to look for enemies to take out in the dark. With this build, you’ll put the Ghost in Ghost of Yotei, literally.
