Attorneys Shawn R. Perez and Ariel Mitchell, who have been representing Ashley Parham in her case against Diddy, have called it quits. Along with Parham, the case also included John Doe and Jane Doe. But now, the plaintiffs will have to look for other representation.
According to legal documents obtained by Complex, Mitchell and Perez are withdrawing from the case against Diddy, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for walking away.
They added in the filing that their relationship with the plaintiffs had become “unreasonably difficult“. Perez and Mitchell have assured that their former clients were informed of the decision, giving them enough time to find new attorneys.
Moreover, they requested the judge to pause the case for a short time so that the change wouldn’t affect the plaintiffs’ chance in court
More About Ashley Parham’s Lawsuit Against Diddy
In October 2024, Ashley Parham had hit Diddy with a lawsuit, in which she accused him of s*xually assaulting her as “payback” after she suggested that he was involved in the murder of Tupac Shakur. Diddy has been linked with the late rapper’s assassination ever since it happened, and Parham’s comments only fueled the fire.
In the lawsuit (via BBC), Parham claimed that Sean Diddy Combs had threatened to slash her face with a knife after she made her comments. It was stated that Parham fell into Combs’ world after meeting a friend of his at a bar in 2018.
She stated the friend was video calling Combs in an attempt to impress the people around him. As for Parham, she didn’t fall for it as she believed that he had “something to do with the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur.” According to the lawsuit, Combs overheard Parham’s words and pledged to make her “pay” for them.
A month after that day, the friend invited Parham to his home, asking for help with his cancer drugs when Combs showed up at the place. He allegedly held up a knife to the side of her face, threatening “to give her a Glasgow smile in retaliation for her previous statements.”
Afterwards, he allegedly ripped off Parham’s clothes and “violently” r*ped her with a television remote, telling her that her life was in his hands and that if he wanted, she’d never be seen again.
What Have Odell Beckham Jr. And Druski Said About the Claims?
Combs isn’t the only one Parham is coming after. In her lawsuit, it is stated that she was s*xually assaulted by multiple people “until eventually she had no control over her body nor could she move her body.”
Allegedly, she tried to escape from there, but was stopped by Combs, who offered her money to say that whatever had happened was consensual. The lawsuit continues to add that Parham ran to the neighbors as gunshots were fired in her direction. Luckily, the neighbors had already contacted the police.
However, Parham stated that the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department did nothing to help her despite telling them that she had been r*ped by Combs and his associates. She is suing Combs and six other people for s*xual assault, battery, abuse, false imprisonment, kidnapping, and more.
Apart from Combs, two other celebrities were name-dropped in the amended complaint – comedian Druski, aka Drew Desbordes, and Odell Beckham Jr. Filed on March 07, 2025, the complaint alleges that Druski “doused Plaintiff with more oil/lubricant and then jumped on top of Plaintiff’s naked and oiled body [before] r*ping Plaintiff vaginally” (via E! News).
The lawsuit added that during the ordeal, she could hear the defendants referring to another defendant as ‘Cornelius’, who she later remembered as Odell.
Denying the allegations, Druski stated,

Odell, who previously went viral after a video of him and Justin Bieber resurfaced, replied to Druski’s statement, stating that he believes in God to keep his name out of the mess:
Boy I’ll tell u what. This world makes absolutely no sense. I am covered by God. He will prevail. I kno who am I , I kno who u are, keep ur head. That name will be cleared. Shxts stupid
Parham is seeking a jury trial for her case against Combs and the others. Only time will tell how things unfold in the future. Until then, the rapper has other things to focus on.
He was sentenced to 50 months in prison on October 03 after being found guilty on two charges of engaging in transportation to prostitution. Combs’ legal troubles are clearly far from over.
