What to Expect From Absolute Batman #13
As readers made it to the end of Absolute Batman #12, they were horrified to witness the sheer brutality that Bane showed all of Bruce’s friends, turning them into misshapen, broken abominations. And with the threat of Absolute Joker still looming above him, it was only a matter of time before Batman started to break.
Fortunately, the issue also brought the involvement of Absolute Catwoman to the forefront of the narrative, with Selina Kyle finally making an appearance. With her unique set of skills and specialties, she can prove useful to Bruce on both an emotional and tactical level, due to her connection and history with the Caped Crusader.
Now, we will just have to wait and see what Batman has in store for Bane after all that he did to make his life a living hell in the past issues. This will also connect to the creation of the Absolute Justice League that we witnessed in the Absolute Evil crossover issue this month.

What the Creative Team Behind Absolute Batman Has to Say
In a surprising turn of events, lead writer Scott Snyder revealed that the series has gotten the green light to continue the narrative for 50-60 issues in total. In addition, he was also quick to reveal that Nightwing is set to make his introduction into the Absolute Batman series soon enough.
Snyder said that he has been having conversations with the series’ lead artist, Nick Dragotta, on giving Nightwing a bigger purpose and reason for his presence in the overarching story of the Absolute Universe. But what that would be, we’ll have to wait and see in the coming issues.
