One Piece haki users can harness their spiritual energy to perform various superhuman feats. Haki manifests from willpower and is quite challenging to master. The concept of Reiatsu in Bleach can be called parallel to Haki. So it is only natural to ask if Ichigo, a Shinigami who possesses a high level of Reiatsu, can defeat One Piece Haki users.
In One Piece, three types of Haki exist: Observation, Armament, and Supreme King Haki. This list ranks the strongest Haki users in One Piece against Ichigo, and the characters have been ranked from those with the least probability of defeating Ichigo to those who can definitely beat him.
10. Silvers Rayleigh
Rayleigh, the former right-hand man of Roger, is the one who taught Luffy how to use Haki. Needless to say, Rayleigh himself has immense prowess over Haki, and at his prime, he was one of the strongest. Despite being in his 70s, he is still powerful and can battle Marine Admirals singlehandedly.
Rayleigh might be a powerful character, but not enough to defeat Ichigo and his spiritual attacks. Although the pirate is extremely unpredictable, he could come close but not win the battle.
9. Monkey D. Luffy
Luffy honed his Haki during the timeskip with Rayleigh, and since then, his skills have only improved. He has also learnt the advanced application of Haki, making him a daunting opponent for Ichigo and maybe even an equal match. Luffy was able to knock out 50,000 enemies with his Haki alone, and he can imbue it with other kinds of attacks as well.
Luffy’s Haki could damage Ichigo’s spiritual form, and his elasticity and unpredictable movements can make Ichigo’s high-speed counters much more complicated. As a result, Luffy can use Haki to neutralize Ichigo’s spiritual slashes. He has a 50-50 chance of winning.
8. Charlotte Linlin/Big Mom
Being the only female Yonko, one can assume just how powerful Big Mom is. She can use all three types of Haki, and her Armament Haki can even block Luffy’s attacks, which could easily bypass Doflamingo and Katakuri’s defenses. Big Mom can also use Conqueror’s Haki to make herself more powerful. During her clash with Kaido, her Haki caused the heavens to split.
Big Mom’s scaling is almost identical to that of Kaido, and her Devil Fruit could effectively counter Ichigo and his hybrid nature. While she is a powerful Haki user, it’s actually her Devil Fruit that nearly tips the scales.
7. Kaido
Kaido, the main villain of the Wano arc, is considered the world’s strongest creature. With mastery over all three types of Haki and their advanced applications, Kaido is a beast. Not only can he see a few seconds into the future with Observation Haki, but he is also extremely fast.
Kaido’s Conqueror’s Haki can even split the heavens when he clashes with another powerful Haki user. His immense strength and durability, and island-busting attacks make him a credible threat. Ichigo’s strongest clashes might not be able to withstand the raw Haki and strength of Kaido, but it might turn out to be a close match.
6. Monkey D. Garp
Garp has all three types of Haki and can use the advanced application of Supreme King Haki. His Observation Haki allows him to sense things others cannot, and he injured Marco with a single Haki-infused punch. At his prime, Garp was even more powerful, judging from how he is indomitable at 80. His Galaxy Impact creates a shockwave that can even level an island’s geographic factors.
Garp’s Haki-infused punches are deadly, but his speed might not be equal to Ichigo’s. It will turn out to be a tough battle, and the result can go either way.
5. Edward Newgate/Whitebeard
Prime Whitebeard could defeat even Kaido and Big Mom. He held the highest bounty amongst his peers. The World Government was ready to use the entire Marine Force and the Seven Warlords of the Sea just to subdue Whitebeard. As the Strongest Man in the world, he has considerable raw strength.
Whitebeard could use all three types of Haki, and his clash against Roger created lightning and generated a huge shockwave. His Observation Haki lets him sense things from a vast distance, and he can imbue his weapon with Haki as well. His Gura Gura no Mi devil fruit, coupled with his Haki, can even outlast the strongest attacks of Ichigo.
4. Shanks
Shanks can use all three types of Haki and is a master of Supreme King Haki. His massive burst of Haki even paralyzed Admiral Ryokugyu. He can knock out even a million people with Haki alone, not even counting his physical strength and swordsmanship.
Needless to say, Shanks might be able to slice through Ichigo’s attacks with his Haki-imbued weapons. His Haki alone could make Ichigo bow down before the pirate. He will get away untouched in direct fights.
3. Gol D. Roger
Roger was hailed as one of the strongest pirates of all time and was nearly unstoppable in battle. Roger did not have any Devil Fruit powers, which makes his achievements even more impressive. At his peak, he can easily defeat even the strongest of characters with raw strength.
Roger could use all three types of Haki, and he had mastered their usage. His clash with Whitebeard created a lightning-like effect, something Ichigo has never been able to achieve. Roger could even push back nearby trees, clouds, and people with his Haki clashes. As a result, Ichigo’s powers might fall short against Roger.
2. Rocks D. Xebec
Xebec is one of the most powerful pirates in the history of One Piece. It took the combined forces of Garp and Roger to defeat him. Xebec could use Supreme King Haki and could infuse it with his sword, which drastically increases his attacking prowess.
The conquests of Xebec indicate that he was an extremely powerful character, the likes of whom could lead Big Mom, Kaido, and even Whitebeard. His power levels suggest that Ichigo might not have been able to defeat him.
1. Joy Boy
The full extent of Joy Boy’s powers has not been revealed yet, but he is considered to be one of the strongest One Piece characters. He wielded Supreme King Haki, which is even more powerful than that of Shanks. In fact, his burst of Haki at Egghead could be felt by Imu all the way from Mary Geoise.
With Joy Boy’s Haki scaling above everyone else and his Nika Devil Fruit abilities that can even warp reality, he has the highest probability of KO-ing Ichigo.
