There has been no confirmed update about their reunion on Doomsday, but they have come together for a unique collaboration.

They announced on Instagram about the collaboration between their brands, BERO and happy®. Holland’s BERO is one of the most premium non-alcoholic beer manufacturers in the market, while Downey Jr.’s happy® produces thoughtfully sourced, expertly blended, and affordable coffee.

Now, the two stars’ friendship brings two limited edition products from BERO x happy®. They announced the BERO x Happy Coffee Draught and the happy® x BERO Eternal Hoptimist ground coffee. The reel on Instagram showed Downey Jr. and Holland showcasing their product.

Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland’s Brands Have Great Personal Stories to Tell

Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland’s friendship dates back to the mid-2010s when they first appeared together in Captain America: Civil War

. They became good friends and forged a mentor-mentee relationship just like in the movies. Downey Jr. shared about his recent collaboration (via PR Newswire):

My friendship with Tom stems from mutual support and respect, and this partnership is exactly that — sharing what we love and creating quality products in tandem.

Holland shared about the collaboration:

This is the kind of collaboration you can only do with a friend. Robert knows coffee better than anyone, and we wanted to bring that same level of care to a beer that celebrates what both our brands stand for: quality, craft, and a premium experience in every sip.

Downey Jr. founded happy® in collaboration with serial entrepreneur Craig Dubitsky. The Iron Man star is obsessed with coffee. He once shared about coffee’s importance in his life, “I credit coffee, in part, for my sanity” (via PEOPLE).

He tasted the blends himself, even delaying the launch of the brand by a year to find the perfect blends with perfect roasting. It was also a philanthropic effort, as he granted an undisclosed equity stake in the company to NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, which helps people struggling with mental health issues (via Fast Company).

Holland launched BERO after he was inspired by his personal journey. He joined forces with Imaginary Ventures and former Nutrabolt president John Herman for the non-alcoholic beer brand. The brand is something personal for Holland as he has been sober for more than two years.

He shocked his fans when he opened up about his alcohol struggles during his appearance on the On Purpose podcast with Jay Shetty. He shared that his alcohol consumption reached peak levels during Christmas time.

Holland realized his problem during Dry January, an initiative by Alcohol Change UK that encouraged people to remove alcohol from their diet for the month of January. He shared, “All I could think about was having a drink. It really scared me. I just was like, ‘Wow, maybe I have a little bit of an alcohol thing.’” His business venture supports his no-alcohol lifestyle.

This Isn’t the First Time that Robert Downey Jr. Collaborated With His Marvel Friends for happy®

Robert Downey Jr. roped in his Marvel friends to help out with his happy® brand. He shared with Esquire that he sought the help of the Russo brothers when it came to marketing. Downey Jr. has a continued friendship with Joe and Anthony Russo, and is currently working with them in Avengers: Doomsday.

The launch campaign of the happy® products was handled by Superconductor, a creative agency founded by the Russo brothers and Justin Lin. They created engaging advertisements comparable to Hollywood productions for such premium brands.

When the happy® products were launched, the Russo brothers shared an Instagram post, where they wrote, “We’re very excited to be involved in such an incredible project and congratulating the Happy team on a great launch.” It wasn’t just the Russo brothers who helped him out with happy® promotions.

He ran into Iron Man director and co-star Jon Favreau while visiting Walt Disney Imagineering. They posed for a photo while promoting the coffee brand. Their Instagram post captioned “#Happy heavy hitters”.
