Similar to Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yotei also has a plethora of hot springs in different locations that give Atsu a chance to rest and also increase her maximum health in the game. So, we have decided to make a list of all the hot springs in Ghost of Yotei, plus resting at all the hot springs unlocks the Fundoshi Armor in the game. Without any further ado, let’s get started.
1. Yotei’s Shadow Hot Spring
At number one, we have the Yotei’s Shadow Hot Spring, which is a hot spring that can be found near the Shikotsu Woods area. The Hot Spring is located just near the Old Trails side quest, where you choose your own horse in Ghost of Yotei. This is the hot spring that rewards you with the Charm of Thoughtful Restoration.
2. Wild Clearing Hot Spring
At number two, we have the Wild Clearing Hot Spring, which can be found in the Maw of the Serpent area. To get to the hot spring, you need to follow the golden bird that will lead you to climb a cliff in that area. After climbing the cliff, you will be able to head towards the hot spring. This hot spring will increase your health.
3. Horizon View Hot Spring
At number three, we have the Horizon View Hot Spring, which can be found below a cliff just south of the Kuttara Gambling Den, near Lake Kuttara and the Tranquil Falls. To reach the hot spring, you need to find a section of the cliff that you can grab and use to climb down to get to the hot spring. This hot spring will also increase your health.
4. Hidden Cliff Hot Spring
At number four, we have the Hidden Cliff Hot Spring, which can be found on top of a small cliff at the northernmost portion of the Yotei Grasslands region, near the Golden Foothills area. While you are heading towards a Saito camp, you will notice those climbing areas. With a little bit of parkour and climbing, you will reach the Hidden Cliff Hot Spring.
5. Bear Rock Hot Spring
At number five, we have the Bear Rock Hot Spring, which is a Hot Spring that can be found on top of the mountain just east of the Ishikari Market. To reach this hot spring, you need to circle around the mountain and then climb a small hill to get to the hot spring. There is also a golden bird that will help you find your way.
6. Kappa’s Hot Spring
At number six, we have the Kappa’s Hot Spring, which can be found north of the Blackened Homestead, near the Urara Forest. You will be able to recognise the area by locating a few trees that have masks hanging from them, and giving a sort of creepy vibe. Similar to other Hot Springs in Ghost of Yotei, this one will also increase your max health.
7. Smoky Mountains Hot Spring
At number seven, we have the Smoky Mountains Hot Spring, which can be found near the White Deer Woodlands, where you have to find the climbing edges along one side of the mountain. To reach the hot spring, you need to traverse and climb the whole mountain. You can also pull the weeds out surrounding the hot spring.
8. Cloud View Hot Spring
At number eight, we have the Cloud View Hot Spring, which is a hot spring that can be found on top of a cliff, towards the northwestern end of the Rumoi River. You will need to climb up the mountain using the climbing edges to actually reach the hot spring.
9. Quiet Valley Hot Spring
At number nine, we have the Quiet Valley Hot Spring, which can be found just above the Ohara Plains, west of the Saito Encampment area, past the white flowers. This hot spring also rewards Atsu with an increase in her maximum health.
10. Grassy Fields Hot Spring
At number ten, we have the Grassy Fields Hot Spring, which can be found just left of the Boar’s Eye Cave, next to a large rock out in the east of the Nupur River.
11. Cave Path Hot Spring
Next up, we have the Cave Path Hot Spring in the Nayoro Wilds area. This hot spring can be found near the Iwor Mountains, to the far west of Husko Kotan. To reach this hot spring, you need to traverse and climb up the mountain first, and then you have to get past all the obstacles and enter a cave in the mountain.
After you have entered the cave, head towards the east and climb the small cliff, then keep moving forward to find the Cave Path Hot Spring.
12. Red Crane Inn Hot Spring
At number 12, we have the Red Crane Inn Hot Spring in Teshio Ridge. This hot spring can be found at the Red Crane Inn near the Teshio River, and it can be accessed by talking to the Settler on the left of the Inn and paying him 200 coins. This hot spring also increases Atsu’s maximum health in the game.
13. Black Bowl Hot Spring
At number 13, we have the Black Bowl Hot Spring, which can be found on top of a small cliff just west of the Crimson Forest in Teshio Ridge. This hot spring is pretty easy to spot, so you will be able to see it from afar as well.
14. Valley View Hot Spring
At number 14, we have the Valley View Hot Spring, which can be found on top of a large cliff just north of the Sarobetsu Lake in the Teshio Ridge region. This place also requires you to climb up multiple obstacles to reach the hot spring.
15. Distant Castle Hot Spring
At number 15, we have the Distant Castle Hot Spring, which can be found in the north of Tokuyama Hills in Oshima Coast. You need to squeeze through a tight hollow and climb up a small valley to reach this hot spring. Similar to other hot springs, this one will also increase your max health and will give Atsu a chance to rest.
16. Cliff View Hot Spring
Finally, at number 16, we have the Cliff View Hot Spring, which can be found just a little south of the Shojin Hills in Oshima Coast. You need to circle around the small cliff to find a broken bridge. Once you cross the broken bridge and climb up, you will find the Cliff View Hot Spring.
You can also find some NPCs taking a bath there, but you can just scare them away by swinging your Katana.
