Director Mercedes Bryce Morgan’s Bone Lake has been garnering all the buzz and hype for slasher and horror fans as the movie takes two of the most notorious things in the world (killing and loving) and merges them in a seductive horror/slasher flick.
With rave reviews, Bone Lake has just been released in theaters (October 3, 2025) in theaters across the U.S. If you are one of those who prefer to stream the movie from the comfort of their home, here’s everything you need to know about the expected streaming release date and platform for Bone Lake.
When Will Bone Lake Be Released on Streaming?
The movie is produced by LD Entertainment and is distributed by Bleecker Street. Considering the average gap between theatrical and streaming release dates, we can expect that Bone Lake
The premise follows a couple who go on vacation to a mysterious place, where things turn sinister as secrets are revealed, and the other couple seems overly friendly. With Mercedes Bryce Morgan helming the film as its director, Bone Lake has received rave reviews and fame during its debut at Fantastic Fest.
Bleecker Street’s release model is also pretty public with their exclusive deal with Showtime+ (which is now a part of Paramount), and their projects hint at a pattern of streaming release within 5 months of a film’s theatrical release.
Of course, the date is tentative since several factors (like box office success) go into the streaming release of a movie. Naturally, it could be safe to assume that Bone Lake would be given a streaming release within 5 months, i.e., February or March 2026.
Will Bone Lake Be Available to Stream on Netflix?
Well, unfortunately for all the Netflix subscribers out there, Bone Lake will probably not arrive on Netflix to stream. Bleecker Street, the distributors of the film, have an exclusive deal with Showtime+, which merged with Paramount for all its distributions.
Hence, when the movie does arrive for streaming, it will probably be available to stream on Paramount+. It will be available for digital purchase on major platforms such as Appe TV and Prime Video, but for streaming, Paramount+ is the most likely place where you’ll find the movie.
