Bayley did something extraordinary during the October 13, 2025, edition of Monday Night RAW (via WWE). She was poised to face The Judgment Day along with Lyra Valkyria and had an average match until Lyra Valkyria slapped and woke the other side of her persona.

As soon as Valkyria slapped her, Bayley responded with a vicious laugh and took it upon herself to confront Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez of The Judgment Day. The RAC Arena in Perth witnessed the kind of ferocity and clinical ability to strike from Bayley that was missing in her in-ring performances for a long time.
Her relentless attacks from that moment on enabled the victory against Perez and Rodriguez. This has been a hard year for both Valkyria and Bayley, and a win against The Judgment Day can bring in renewed excitement levels for them. While the triumph came at a crucial time in their professional wrestling career, it was a sudden change in persona from Bayley that became an emerging talking point.
Evidently, this is not the first time that the former Women’s Champion has weirded out her partner and the WWE universe alike. In light of her rising split personality issues, here are 5 signs that Bayley is turning heel.
5. Bayley’s ‘Struggle With Her Inner Self’ Promo
The first signs of Bayley doing rather weird activities as part of WWE programming came during the August 18, 2025, episode of Monday Night RAW (via WWE).
During a promo segment, Bayley wanted to clear her head, but instead voices inside her head were so loud that she appeared distracted and a shadow of her former self. The other persona of the former Women’s Champion was repeatedly motivating her to turn heel. The inner voice inside Bayley’s head promised that she would re-emerge as the next big superstar; once again, she would follow her commands.
4. Paving the Way for Lyra Valkyria’s Defeat at SummerSlam 2025
The stakes could not have been higher for Lyra Valkyria than her clash against Becky Lynch at SummerSlam 2025, where she was involved in a No Disqualification last-chance match with the Women’s Intercontinental title on the line.
Just when it appeared that the match was turning in Becky Lynch’s favor, Bayley emerged on the scene to intervene on Valkyria’s behalf and relentlessly attacked ‘The Man’. However, an unprecedented event occurred when Bayley wanted to attack Lynch, but accidentally struck Valkyria instead.
The attack from Bayley turned out to be detrimental for Valkyria, which, in turn, cost her the Women’s Intercontinental title and the prospect of Valkyria ever challenging for the title, lost permanently as long as Becky Lynch is Champion.
The incident proved that something is fundamentally wrong with Bayley, and it became a cornerstone of the heel turn for the former SmackDown Women’s Champion, which now appears imminent.
3. Bayley Hugging Everyone Upon Her Return to Monday Night RAW
Bayley made her high-stakes return to Monday Night RAW during the September 15, 2025, episode of RAW (via WWE) and saved Lyra Valkyria from an attack from The Judgment Day. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez were brutally attacking Valkyria up until that point, which could have triggered an injury for the former Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
Bayley viciously attacked The Judgment Day members and then turned towards Valkyria, in what appeared that she might attack her. But somehow, Bayley managed to control the voices in her head and started hugging everyone around her.
From the commentators, to the announcer, and the general public, everyone received a hug from the former Women’s Champion. While it did mark the celebrations for Bayley, in the long run, it also consolidated the fact that something is not right about her persona, and she could switch sides anytime now.
2. Bayley Reflecting on Her Recent Disastrous Defeats
Bayley has been a prolific performer inside the ring. She had a coveted career in professional wrestling. But her performance graph has been falling drastically. This was particularly reflected when she lost the opportunity to become the Women’s Tag Team Champion at WrestleMania 41. Bayley was replaced by Becky Lynch, who grabbed the title with Lyra Valkyria for a short period of time.
This harmed Bayley’s mental state. During a promo segment on WWE programming as part of the August 11, 2025, episode of Monday Night RAW (via WWE on Netflix), Bayley opened up about how she felt and shared:
I don’t know how to start this. I honestly don’t even know how I got this right here, I have been doing this for almost 13 years, and I’ve never felt the way I feel.
Additionally, she stated that she cannot remember the last time she was proud of herself, and the fact that she misses the Role Model persona. This promo, where Bayley tried to open up, revealed in detail the sensitive side of her persona and established that a change of heart could be imminent.
1. Bayley Yells at Lyra Valkyria to Show Her Flip Side
Something unprecedented happened during the September 15, 2025, episode of Monday Night RAW (via WWE). Lyra Valkyria came in to express her gratitude towards Bayley for saving her inside the ring against The Judgment Day. Additionally, she also apologized for the manner in which she lashed out against Bayley after SummerSlam 2025.
Bayley, however, had plans of her own, and she utilized the synergy that would develop between them to thank Valkyria for providing the trigger for her to act decisively.
Valkyria evidently also seemed weirded out when she and the others in the WWE universe could hear Bayley talking to someone else inside the locker room, but upon Valkyria’s entry, there was no one else there. This evidently showed that Bayley is far from her former babyface role model persona and is increasingly turning heel.
These moments have signaled Bayley’s heel turn and pointed out that the former Women’s Champion has evidently changed. Only time will tell if and when she opts for a complete heel turn in WWE?
