5 Last-Minute Predictions Ahead of WWE RAW (September 8)

The anticipation for the September 8 segment of WWE RAW is higher than ever, as the reports of AJ Lee’s return have come true. To make the show all the more exciting, the GM of the Red Brand, Adam Pearce, took to his Instagram, sharing a preview with the fans on what can be expected from tonight’s show.

The show will be live from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Fans can expect the drama to be amped up as WrestlePalooza is around the corner, and big matches are set to be part of the PPV. With that being said, here are our five last-minute predictions for tonight’s show.

5. A ‘Heel’ Bayley Returns to Attack Lyra Valkyria During Her Match Against Raquel Rodriguez

It has been teased for a couple of weeks that Bayley has been struggling with her mental health, and ominous voices could be heard in the background of the video. We know how her mental health started deteriorating after her failed attempt to help Lyra Valkyria win the Women’s IC title against Becky Lynch at SummerSlam 2025.

Moreover, Valkyria abandoned Bayley after having a heated confrontation and going their separate ways. With the video being darker in the previous week’s segment, it is clear that a heel turn is being indicated. Tonight, as ‘The Bird Woman’ will be in action against Raquel Rodriguez, we can expect Bayley to return and attack Valkyria for a potential match at WWE WrestlePalooza.

4. Dominik Mysterio Costs AJ Styles His Match Against El Grande Americano

AJ Styles can’t seem to settle his score against Dominik Mysterio. Last week, everyone believed that Styles would finally win the Men’s IC Championship as The Judgement Day was banned from the ringside. In the final minutes of the match, everyone was on their feet as they saw ‘The Phenomenal One’ prepare to deliver the Phenomenal Forearm.

However, El Grande Americano came out of nowhere and hit him with a headbutt with the steel plate inside his mask. Now, the former IC Champion will square off against Americano in tonight’s segment, but Dirty Dom will return the favor, once again, handing him a defeat.

3. Asuka Attacks Rhea Ripley in a Backstage Segment

Asuka has been getting overprotective of Iyo Sky, and in last week’s segment (via X), we saw how she told ‘The Eradicator’ to stay away from her and that she’s not her friend. The conversation quickly turned hostile when Rhea Ripley returned the favor with a similar attitude.

Since they have been having problems with each other for some time, it hints that they will lock horns sooner or later. We can expect that Asuka loses her cool as ‘The Genius of the Sky’ shares a moment with ‘The Mami’ backstage, leading to her getting attacked by the former Women’s Champion.

2. The Usos Reunite to Take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed

On the September 1 segment of Monday Night RAW, we saw Jey Uso and LA Knight falling short against Seth Rollins’ faction, ‘The Vision’. It did not end there because, following the match, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed commenced an all-out assault on ‘The Yeet Man’ with the intention of sending him next to Roman Reigns in the hospital.

Luckily, Jimmy Uso came to the rescue of his brother (via Instagram). Tonight, they will be reuniting once again, showcasing why they are the greatest tag team of all time. Perhaps, even punching some sense into Breakker and Reed, as they will try to attack them during their promo.

1. AJ Lee and CM Punk Call Out Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch have been having their way against CM Punk since SummerSlam 2025. First, Rollins put up an injury ruse to cash in against him at The Biggest Party of the Summer, and then at WWE Clash in Paris, ‘The Man’ delivered a low blow to Punk to help her husband retain the World Heavyweight title.

Last week on the Red Brand, we saw Lynch humiliating Punk, taking personal shots against him and his family. Now, on the September 5 segment of SmackDown, ‘The Best in the World’ brought back AJ Lee, leading to one of the loudest pops in recent times. The return of the 3-time Divas Champion now reinforces that the dream feud of a Mixed Tag Team match will take place at WrestlePalooza, adding another layer of depth to the Punk vs. Rollins rivalry.
